Novant South Charlotte Hospital

To meet a growing need for acute care in the suburbs of Charlotte, Novant Health is constructing a new hospital in the Ballantyne area. Once the site of the Hall Family farm, this 161,000 square foot facility will house two operating rooms, a dedicated C-section operating room and 36 acute care beds. At a cost of nearly $154 million, the facility is expected to open in 2023.

Atlas Surveying’s Charlotte office has been subcontracted by Siteworks, LLC to provide construction staking of silt fence and limits of disturbance; water, sewer and storm systems; curbing and offsite road improvements. This subcontract included preparation of a Geographic Positioning System (GPS) control model and establishing GPS control points. Atlas Surveying will also provide as-built plans for all utilities.
