Magnolia Plantation and Gardens

Magnolia Plantation, founded in 1676, has been deemed one of “America’s most beautiful gardens” by Travel + Leisure Magazine and it’s easy to see why. When you step into the gardens, resting on Charleston’s tranquil Ashley River, they reveal thousands of breathtaking native flowers and plants.

In March 2021, Atlas Surveying Inc.’s Charleston office was contracted by Magnolia Plantation and Gardens to complete a total as-built, tree and topographic survey of approximately 30 acres of the gardens.Atlas also completed a partial boundary verification of the nearly 200-acre plantation, as well as located and marked all underground utilities.

The work performed by Atlas Surveying, Inc. is essential to assist with future property updates and improvements in the works for the plantation, such as their parking area. Magnolia Plantation’s updates will ensure a more delightful and memorable experience for their guests.
